The Clydeside FORTNIGHT Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a special release from the Clydeside Distillery, which adds a new dimension to the distillery’s classic house style. The name FORTNIGHT refers to the short period of the year during which Clydeside deliberately distils peated whisky. This targeted production phase complements the distillery’s core range and adds a smoky dimension to the otherwise clean, fruit-forward Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, without losing its characteristic elegance.


Produced with the precision characteristic of Clydeside, this single malt whisky is made from 100 per cent Scottish barley, malted with Highland peat to 54 ppm. Pure water from Loch Katrine, prized for its quality for generations, is used in the brewing process. Maturation takes place over six years in refill oak casks, ensuring the smoke remains subtly integrated whilst allowing room for fruit and structure. Bottled at 46 per cent, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour, this bottling retains its full texture and authentic character. Distilled and bottled by Morrison Glasgow Distillers, the Clydeside FORTNIGHT represents a deliberate extension of the Lowland style, incorporating a moderate influence of peat.
