As part of the modern Core Range, this Maritime Malt from the Highlands embodies the distillery’s close connection to the North Sea coast. The name ‘Harbour’ refers to the sheltered harbour of Wick and highlights the influence of the salty sea air, which subtly affects the distillate during maturation.


Old Pulteney Harbour 40% is matured exclusively in carefully selected American white oak casks. This maturation in high-quality American oak gives this American oak-matured Highland single malt a balanced structure with creamy, fruity and spicy Elements. Stored in the traditional Dunnage Warehouse near Wick Bay, this 0.7 l single malt develops its typically subtle maritime character. Unchill-filtered and presented in a gift box, this ‘The Maritime Malt’ is robust, structured and, at the same time, harmoniously balanced.
