Description
Description
The Heinrich Vitikult Blaufränkisch Burgenland 2024, 13.5% ABV, 0.75 l, is a Blaufränkisch from Burgenland with a strong character, which clearly reflects the signature style of the renowned Weingut Heinrich. The grapes come from the Altes Weingebirge vineyard in Deutschkreutz, characterised by loamy soils with a very high limestone content. Under the influence of the Pannonian climate, the vines grow in a natural, sustainable balance and produce structured wines that are true to their terroir.
The grapes are harvested selectively by hand. Following controlled maceration with natural spontaneous fermentation and subsequent biological acid reduction, the wine matures for 12 months in small oak barrels. This ageing process lends the Blaufränkisch 2024 a delicate, subtle toasty aroma and complements the ripe tannins without overshadowing the fruit. With an alcohol content of 13.5% vol., this Austrian quality red wine is elegant, structured and characterised by its terroir. Its ageing potential of 6–8 years underlines its capacity to mature. It is recommended that the wine be opened 1–2 hours before serving.
