Maturation takes place using the Solera method, initially in bourbon casks, port casks and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, before an extended period of secondary maturation in American rye whisky casks imparts its characteristic spiciness to the distillate. At 43% vol., this 86-proof rum with a rye finish is structured, richly aromatic and, at the same time, well-balanced.
