Justino's Madeira Wines FINE DRY 19% vol. 0.375 l is a classic, elegant Madeira from Portugal that authentically reflects the traditional style of the island of Madeira. Produced by the renowned Vinhos Justino Henriques, whose history dates back to 1870, this Madeira DOP stands for precision, freshness and complex aromas. The grapes come, amongst other places, from the coastal region of Santa Cruz in the east of the island, where the maritime climate creates ideal conditions for balanced, characterful Madeira wines.
Madeira is a fortified wine and, like port or sherry, is fortified with spirit. A characteristic feature is the oxidative ageing process, as well as the so-called ‘Madeirisation’, in which the wine matures for several months at elevated temperatures to simulate the historic sea voyages of Madeira wines. This process lends Justino’s Madeira Fine Dry its typical depth, stability and longevity. With an alcohol content of 19% vol., this Madeira ‘intermediate’ is dry, well-structured and versatile. The smaller 0.375-litre bottle is ideal for aperitifs or as a stylish finish to a meal.
