The CONSTANTIA HILL Sauvignon Blanc x Semillon 2021, 13.5% ABV, 0.75 l, is an elegant white wine from South Africa, hailing from the renowned cool-climate wine-growing region of Constantia. This characterful Wine of Origin (WO) Constantia is vinified by Leo Hillinger in collaboration with Alexander Waibel and the South African winemaker Justin Van Wyk. The grapes are grown in Hillinger’s ‘second home’, Constantia – one of South Africa’s oldest and most prestigious wine regions, renowned for its fresh and elegant cool-climate wines.


The wine is composed of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon, a classic Bordeaux blend that combines freshness, structure and complexity. The region’s temperate climate ensures slow ripening of the grapes and lends the Constantia Hill White its precise aromatics and elegant acidity. With an alcohol content of 13.5% vol., this South African white wine is harmonious, well-balanced and particularly enjoyable to drink. It has a Lager potential of around 2 to 4 years, meaning the wine can be enjoyed young or stored for a short period.
