Description
The MICHAEL Sauvignon Blanc M Vulkanland Steiermark DAC 2025 12.5% vol. 0.75 l is a characterful Sauvignon Blanc from the Vulkanland Steiermark DAC, which impressively reflects the typical freshness and aromatics of this renowned Austrian wine region. The grapes for this Styrian white wine were harvested on 15 September 2025 and carefully processed to bring out the distinctive style of this cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc to its fullest. The Vulkanland Steiermark DAC region is renowned for its mineral-rich soils and balanced climate, which produce particularly aromatic and precisely structured Sauvignon Blanc wines from Austria.
The wine is matured in stainless steel tanks with fine lees ageing, allowing it to retain its clear fruitiness, freshness and elegant structure. This vinification process enhances the typical aromas of Styrian Sauvignon Blanc and lends the wine additional complexity and texture. With an alcohol content of 12.5% vol., this Austrian DAC white wine is well-balanced, lively and particularly enjoyable to drink. The MICHAEL Sauvignon Blanc M is considered Michael’s personal favourite wine and represents a modern interpretation of the classic Styrian Sauvignon Blanc.
