Berta Grappa Elisi per L’Acqua Grappa Invecchiata 43% vol. 0.5 l + GB is an elegant Grappa Invecchiata from Piedmont, which combines the artisanal art of distillation practised by the renowned Berta distillery with an exceptional social project. This long-established distillery is one of the best-known producers of high-quality Italian grappa specialities and has stood for quality, innovation and sustainable responsibility for generations. With the Elisi per l’Acqua edition, Berta is working alongside the organisation WAMI to promote access to clean drinking water. Every bottle produced of this special edition Berta grappa helps to offset one person’s average daily water consumption whilst supporting drinking water projects in Guinea-Bissau.


As part of this project, communities without safe access to drinking water are identified and provided with new water pipes. Each bottle of Berta Elisi per l’Acqua corresponds to approximately 250 litres of drinking water, which is made available to families in the Ulysses Grant community in Guinea-Bissau. Through the partnership with WAMI, not only is the infrastructure funded, but the long-term use and maintenance of the facilities are also supported, ensuring sustainable and lasting solutions.


Berta Grappa Elisi per l’Acqua is produced from a careful selection of Berta grapes and distilled using the traditional discontinuous distillation method in copper stills heated by steam. This Grappa Invecchiata is then aged for around three years in wooden casks, allowing its elegant structure and subtle cask notes to develop. With an alcohol content of 43 per cent, this matured grappa from Italy is smooth, harmonious and aromatic. The high-quality gift box emphasises the special character of this sustainable Berta Grappa edition.
