The Hagn Chardonnay Classic 2025, 13% ABV, 0.75 l, is an elegant Chardonnay from Lower Austria that combines the classic style of this international Burgundy variety with the freshness and precision of Austrian white wines. Produced by Weingut Hagn in Mailberg in the Weinviertel region, the grapes come from the Hochlüssen vineyard, whose loam-loess soils provide ideal conditions for aromatic and well-structured quality Chardonnay wines. The wine falls into the ‘Quality Wine from Lower Austria’ category and displays a balanced blend of fruit, structure and elegance.


After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and left on the mash for around eight hours before being gently pressed using gentle pressure in a pneumatic press. The wine is then aged for around five months in stainless steel tanks, which beautifully preserves the fruitiness and distinct aromatics of this Austrian Chardonnay. With an alcohol content of 13% vol., a recommended serving temperature of 8–9°C and a drinking window from around 2026 to 2030, this Lower Austrian Chardonnay presents itself as a harmonious, versatile food companion with an elegant structure and balanced freshness.
