Douglas Laing’s THE EPICUREAN The Peated Edition Lowland Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is an exceptional limited edition from the renowned Remarkable Regional Malts series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This special bottling marks a first for The Epicurean brand, as it is the first time the classic Lowland blended malt whisky has been complemented by a peated cask influence. This creates an exciting combination of the typical fresh, elegant Lowland style and a gentle smokiness, which lends the whisky additional depth.


The Epicurean Peated Edition brings together selected Lowland single malts, renowned for their lively, citrusy and malty aromas. The influence of peated casks adds a new dimension to the whisky, combining green freshness, floral nuances and malty sweetness with a subtle layer of earthy peated smoke. This small-batch release is limited to just 1,800 bottles worldwide and is bottled at natural cask strength of 50.5% ABV. As is customary with Douglas Laing, the whisky is bottled without chill filtration and without colouring, thereby fully preserving the authentic character of this Lowland Blended Malt Scotch Whisky.
