El Jimador Tequila Blanco 100% Agave Azul is a classic Mexican tequila from Jalisco, produced exclusively from 100 per cent blue Weber agave (Agave Azul). This Tequila Blanco is produced by the historic Casa Herradura Distillery, one of Mexico’s oldest and most renowned tequila distilleries. The name El Jimador pays tribute to the experienced agave farmers, known as Jimadores, who harvest the ripe agaves by hand, thereby laying the foundation for high-quality tequila.

Production begins with the careful selection of fully ripe Agave Azul, whose hearts – known as piñas – are gently cooked after harvesting to release the natural sugars. This is followed by fermentation and double distillation, resulting in the characteristic, clear and fresh style of a Tequila Blanco. As this 100% agave tequila is not aged in casks, or only for a very short time, the natural flavours of the agave are preserved particularly well. At 38% ABV, El Jimador Blanco is pleasantly smooth and well-balanced, making it ideal for enjoying neat or in classic tequila cocktails.
