The Hillinger Hill Side White 2018, 12.5% ABV, 3 litres, is an elegant white wine cuvée from Austria, produced by the renowned Leo Hillinger winery, which impresses with its fresh, aromatic style. This harmonious blend of Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Yellow Muscat combines structure, fruit and aromatic finesse to create a versatile Austrian white wine. The vines grow on limestone and slate soils, which lend the wine a mineral edge and elegant depth. The generous 3-litre magnum is ideal for social occasions and special moments of enjoyment.


Vinification is carried out with particular attention to freshness and the preservation of aromas: after approximately 6 hours of maceration, the must is gently processed and then fermented in stainless-steel tanks, with fermentation lasting around 4 weeks. This is followed by ageing on the full lees for about 2 months and then on the fine lees for around 4 months, which imparts additional structure and harmony. With an alcohol content of 12.5% vol., this Austrian white cuvée is a well-balanced, fruit-forward and versatile accompaniment to food.
