The Weinhof Szemes SUZY WONG 2023, 11% ABV, 0.75 l, is a lively and modern rosé sparkling wine from Southern Burgenland, which combines the mineral character of the Eisenberg with fruity freshness and a fine effervescence. Produced by the Szemes Winery, this wine is one of the estate’s first projects using grapes from the Saybritz vineyard on the Eisenberg. Only perfectly ripened Blauburger and Zweigelt grapes are used for this Austrian rosé sparkling wine, lending it its expressive fruitiness and elegant structure.


Fermentation takes place in a 1,000-litre stainless-steel tank, which optimally preserves the fresh and crisp aromas. The wine is then aged on the lees for around 6 to 8 months before being bottled whilst still fresh and fruity. The soils, composed of slate, loam and rocky brown earth, lend this Austrian sparkling wine a delicate minerality and elegant tension. With an alcohol content of 11% vol., SUZY WONG is light, invigorating and versatile. The combination of lively fruit, fine bubbles and a mineral structure makes this rosé sparkling wine a modern and uncomplicated wine to enjoy on numerous occasions.
