Description
The Adam-Lieleg Sauvignon Blanc Ried Oberer Kranachberg Südsteiermark DAC 2024 13% vol. 0.75 l is a precise and terroir-driven Sauvignon Blanc from the Südsteiermark DAC, which impressively reflects the distinctive characteristics of its single vineyard. Produced by the Adam-Lieleg winery, this Austrian white wine originates from the renowned Ried Oberer Kranachberg, whose south to south-east facing plots at 500 to 540 metres above sea level offer ideal conditions for elegant and structured wines. The Illyrian climate, combined with cooling forests, ensures slow ripening and pronounced aromatics. The calcareous sandy and sandstone soils, containing elements of quartz and tourmaline, lend this Austrian Sauvignon Blanc its distinctive minerality and depth.
With an alcohol content of 12% vol., this Südsteiermark DAC Sauvignon Blanc is dry and well-balanced, with a clear structure. The meticulous vinification precisely expresses the grape variety’s typical style, elegantly combining fruit, freshness and mineral tension. The 2024 vintage is mature and complex, with great expressiveness and a clear focus on origin and terroir. Served at around 10 °C, this Styrian white wine unfolds its full bouquet and impresses with its complexity and length.
