The grapes come from the Treviso area in Veneto, the historic heartland of Prosecco production. The two grape varieties are first vinified separately to best preserve their individual characteristics. They are only blended into the final cuvée just before the second fermentation. The subsequent second fermentation takes place using the traditional Charmat method in an autoclave and lasts for at least 60 days on the lees.
