Le Volte dell’Ornellaia Toscana IGT 2024, 13% ABV, in a 0.75-litre bottle, is an accessible yet sophisticated introduction to the fascinating world of Ornellaia. The 2024 vintage benefited from a balanced growing season with good water supply, followed by warm and sunny summer months, which created ideal conditions for the grapes to ripen to perfection. The different grape varieties were fermented separately in small stainless-steel tanks to best preserve their individual characteristics. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged for around ten months, partly in barriques previously used for Ornellaia and partly in stainless steel tanks. This ageing process gives Le Volte dell’Ornellaia 2024 a perfect balance between fruit, structure and elegance. With an alcohol content of 13% vol., this premium red wine from Italy is fresh, harmonious and remarkably versatile.
