Description
The Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé 2025, 12.5% ABV, in a 0.75-litre bottle, epitomises the elegance and lightness of Provence like almost no other wine. The renowned Château Miraval estate is situated in the picturesque village of Correns, north of Brignoles, and is considered one of the region’s most exceptional estates. The vineyards span the Côtes de Provence and Coteaux Varois en Provence appellations and benefit from a unique terroir of clay, limestone and Keuper marl soils, which lend the wines their characteristic minerality and freshness.
The 2025 vintage was characterised by intense heatwaves and an early ripening process. Despite lower yields, the smaller berries developed exceptional concentration and aromatic expression, whilst retaining the freshness typical of Provence. This cuvée, made from Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle and Syrah, is produced exclusively from hand-harvested grapes, which are sorted into small 35-kg crates. Following gentle pressing, the wine is aged predominantly in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, whilst a small proportion matures in oak barrels with regular bâtonnage. The result is a Provence rosé that combines fruit, minerality and elegance in perfect harmony, impressively reflecting the signature style of Miraval.
