In keeping with the distillery’s signature style, this Irish single malt whisky is triple-distilled, resulting in a particularly smooth and fruity profile. The whisky is then matured for a total of 12 years, undergoing a carefully curated selection of casks. It is initially stored in first-fill bourbon casks, before the single malt is further refined in a combination of first-fill and second-fill ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is precisely the intense influence of the PX sherry casks that adds extra depth, sweetness and spicy cask notes to the fruity Bushmills style.


With this elaborate cask maturation, the Bushmills 12 Years Old PX Sherry Cask showcases a particularly expressive side of the Northern Irish distillery.
