Moskovskaya Vodka FKP is a vodka made to a time-honoured recipe, with a history stretching back some 125 years. Today, this well-known vodka is produced in Riga, Latvia, and is particularly recognisable by its distinctive green bottle. Wheat and rye grown in Europe are used in its production, forming the grain base for this clear, classic style. The alcohol obtained from these grains is triple-distilled to achieve a high level of purity and a balanced character. In this way, Moskovskaya combines its historic Osobaya recipe with modern production within the European Union.


After distillation, Moskovskaya Vodka undergoes careful filtration through activated birch charcoal and quartz sand. The filtration takes place at a controlled rate, relying solely on the natural force of gravity. The distillate is then diluted to the desired drinking strength using pure artesian water from natural springs in Latvia. The water contributes significantly to the vodka’s smooth and neutral profile. At 38% ABV in the 0.7-litre bottle, Moskovskaya Osobaya is a classic vodka made from wheat and rye, with triple distillation, birch charcoal filtration, quartz sand filtration and artesian spring water are the key features of its production.
