Description
Description
The Knöbl Lausbua 2025 11 % is an aromatic white wine cuvée from Styria, produced by the Weinhof Knöbl. The cuvée combines Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller and Scheurebe, bringing together three expressive grape varieties. Sauvignon Blanc contributes freshness and structure, whilst Yellow Muscat and Scheurebe shape the wine’s aromatic character. The Knöbl Lausbua is deliberately designed as an uncomplicated, lively white wine, combining intense fruitiness with a pleasantly accessible style. The 0.75-litre bottle and the moderate alcohol content of 11 per cent underline its light and easy-drinking character. The blend of grape varieties is also documented for earlier vintages of the Lausbua.
The Knöbl Lausbua 2025 is therefore particularly well-suited to anyone looking for a fruity Styrian white wine with distinctive aromas. The blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Yellow Muscat and Scheurebe creates a versatile profile that is ideal both for casual enjoyment and as an accompaniment to light dishes. The name ‘Lausbua’ perfectly captures the youthful, lively style of this Styrian white wine cuvée. However, for the 2025 vintage, I was unable to find a reliable source from the producer regarding residual sugar, ageing or the exact designation of origin; I would therefore not include this information without a product data sheet.
