Writer’s Tears CASK STRENGTH Irish Whiskey Exclusive Release 2025 is a particularly exclusive bottling from the Irish brand Writer’s Tears, limited to just 1,200 bottles. This edition is crafted exclusively from carefully selected distillates of Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey and Single Malt Irish Whiskey, which are traditionally triple-distilled. The whisky is then matured in selected, exceptional American oak casks, whose influence lends the whisky additional depth, structure and spicy oak notes. Writer's Tears forms part of the Walsh Whiskey portfolio and, through its name, draws on the long-standing connection between Irish whisky culture and literature. The combination of two classic Irish whisky styles forms an essential part of the brand’s distinctive character.

The Exclusive Release 2025 is bottled at cask strength with a robust 54.9% ABV and is correspondingly full-bodied, intense and particularly expressive. It is not chill-filtered, allowing this non-chill-filtered Irish whisky to retain its original character and aromatic concentration. The release comprises just 1,200 bottles worldwide, underscoring the exclusive nature of this annual edition. Presented in a 0.7-litre bottle with a gift box, the Writer's Tears Cask Strength 2025 Limited Edition combines a high alcohol content, American oak cask maturation and traditional Irish whisky styles to create a particularly characterful bottling, which is also of interest to collectors of limited-edition Irish whiskies within the Writer's Tears range.
