The annual Cask Strength Edition is bottled undiluted at cask strength and combines Bunnahabhain’s signature unpeated Islay single malt with intense fruit, sherry notes and maritime elegance. For the 2026 Edition, the cask selection comprises 50 per cent first-fill Oloroso sherry casks and 50 per cent bourbon casks. Stylistically, this edition follows on from the 2023 release, though it is slightly sweeter, lighter and rounder. The Oloroso casks primarily contribute dried fruit, soft spices and chocolate, whilst the bourbon casks add vanilla, honey and toasted coconut.
