The Saint James 10 ANS D'ÂGE Extra Vieux Rhum Agricole Martinique AOC Série Limitée 2025 42% embodies the particularly mature side of Martinique’s time-honoured Rhum Agricole tradition. It is produced by Saint James in Sainte-Marie, Martinique, from fresh sugarcane juice and thus adheres to the classic style of a Rhum Agricole Martinique AOC. This limited edition is based on the 2015 vintage, which was put into casks on 1 July 2015 and matured in the distillery’s cellars until 5 September 2025. American oak 200-litre casks and French oak 350-litre casks were used. The long ageing under tropical conditions in Sainte-Marie intensifies the interaction between the distillate and the wood, lending the rum additional depth, maturity and structure.

After more than ten years of cask maturation, the Saint James 10 Years Old Extra Vieux Rhum Agricole, at 42% ABV, is powerful yet balanced and elegant. The combination of American and French oak introduces different woody, vanilla and spicy notes, whilst the characteristic sugar cane style remains clearly recognisable.
