The name ‘Timorous Beastie’ pays homage to the famous poem ‘To a Mouse’ by Scotland’s national poet Robert Burns, which centres on a shy little field mouse. The 10 Years Old Small Batch Release is bottled at 46.8% ABV, without chill filtration and without added colouring, thereby preserving the natural characteristics of the distillates used.
