Janeiro Cachaça 40% ABV 0.7 l is an authentic Brazilian cachaça, inspired by the unique zest for life of the vibrant metropolis of Rio de Janeiro. This spirit combines traditional Brazilian craftsmanship with modern elegance and embodies the light-heartedness, zest for life and unmistakable character of the famous ‘Cariocas’. Cachaça became known worldwide primarily as the main ingredient in the classic Caipirinha, yet high-quality bottlings such as Janeiro Cachaça are equally impressive when enjoyed neat, thanks to their exceptional freshness and balance.


Only fresh green sugarcane is used in the production process; it is harvested by hand and processed directly on the same plantation. Unlike in many industrial production processes, the sugarcane fields are not burnt at all, resulting in a particularly pure and aromatic sugarcane juice. Following fermentation, distillation takes place in steel stills. A small proportion of the fermented sugarcane juice is deliberately retained during the distillation process, lending Janeiro Cachaça its characteristically fresh and fragrant bouquet. A brief ageing period in oak barrels further enhances the harmony and subtle depth of the spirit. The elegant bottle design, with its sweeping lines, also echoes the famous silhouette of Sugarloaf Mountain and the waves of Copacabana.
