Four Roses Bourbon is a smooth and aromatic Kentucky Straight Bourbon, renowned for its exceptional lightness and elegance. It is produced using a unique process: five different yeast strains and two distinct grain blends are used, resulting in ten individual flavour profiles. These mature separately in charred oak casks for five to ten years before being blended into a harmonious and well-balanced bourbon.
The Four Roses Distillery, founded in 1888, is one of the most traditional bourbon distilleries in the USA and stands out from other producers thanks to its innovative blending process. Whilst many distilleries use only a few recipes, Four Roses combines ten unique mashbills to achieve a particularly refined and complex aroma. Furthermore, Four Roses is characterised by its gentle distillation and long ageing period, which lend the bourbon an unmistakable smoothness and depth.
