Galliano L’Autentico 42.3% ABV 0.7 l is an iconic Italian liqueur which, since its launch in Livorno in 1896, has been renowned for its distinctive recipe and striking bottle design. With its tall, slender bottle and bright golden-yellow colour, Galliano has been a real eye-catcher in bars and home bars worldwide for decades.


The recipe is based on a complex blend of over 30 herbs, plants and spices, including star anise, juniper, yam, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla and Mediterranean herbs. This diversity gives Galliano L’Autentico its characteristic aromatic depth, with a balance of sweetness, spice and a delicate herbal freshness. Particularly noteworthy is the distinct vanilla note, which, together with the herbs, creates a harmonious flavour profile. With an alcohol content of 42.3% vol., Galliano is stronger than many other liqueurs and is suitable both for enjoying neat and as a versatile cocktail ingredient.


Its popularity rose particularly in the 1970s thanks to drinks such as the Harvey Wallbanger, in which Galliano brings its distinctive herbal-vanilla note to the fore. To this day, it is regarded as a classic of international bar culture.
