In the legendary ‘No. 1 Vault’, the ancient stone vault on the shores of Loch Indaal, the magical character of Islay and centuries-old traditions come together to create a single malt whisky with a complex balance, mellow Islay smokiness, maritime minerality and a wealth of fresh stone fruit aromas.
Bowmore FIFTEEN YEARS OLD is an Islay single malt that serves as a perfect example of a sherry cask finish.
Initially, the whisky is matured in bourbon casks; however, for the final three years it is finished in Oloroso sherry casks, which lend this Scotch whisky its deep colour and robust, warming finish.
