Description
El Dorado 5 Years Old Cask Aged Demerara Rum is an excellent, cask-aged rum from Guyana, renowned for its harmonious balance of spice, sweetness and fruity notes. It is distilled from the finest Demerara sugarcane molasses and produced using a combination of traditional wooden and copper stills, before being aged for five years in oak casks. This careful ageing lends it a pleasant depth and remarkable smoothness, making it ideal both for enjoying neat and for use in premium cocktails.
With an alcohol content of 40% vol., El Dorado 5 Years Old offers a perfect balance of robust flavours and a smooth, slightly sweet texture. The cask ageing contributes to the development of vanilla, caramel and oak notes, whilst fruity and spicy nuances round off the flavour profile.
