The Botanist Islay Dry Gin is a unique premium gin from the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay, characterised by its multi-layered complexity and artisanal precision. With an alcohol content of 46% vol., it is distilled in small batches at the renowned Bruichladdich Distillery, which is best known for its high-quality whiskies. This Islay Dry Gin is considered the first of its kind on the island and represents a progressive exploration of Islay’s botanical heritage.


A total of 22 hand-selected botanicals from the island – including herbs, flowers and roots – are combined with nine classic gin ingredients such as juniper, coriander seeds and citrus peel in a particularly slow distillation process. The result is a multi-layered flavour profile that combines elegance, depth and harmony. Its crisp purity and the subtle balance between floral, spicy and zesty notes make it an essential addition to any home bar.
