The Champagne Drappier Grande Sendrée 2015, 12% ABV, is an exceptional vintage champagne from France that embodies the time-honoured art of champagne-making practised by the Drappier family estate in Urville on the Côte des Bar. This renowned prestige cuvée, made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, takes its name from the historic La Grande Sendrée vineyard, whose history is closely linked to the Champagne house. Around half of the grapes come from the eponymous Lager, which shapes the distinctive terroir character of this 2015 Champagne Brut Millésimé. The careful selection of the base wines and the blend of these two classic grape varieties form the foundation for a sophisticated champagne with an unmistakable personality.


In the production of the Drappier Grande Sendrée 2015, around a third of the base wines are aged in wooden barrels, adding an extra dimension to the traditional vinification process. The Champagne is then aged on the lees for five years before it achieves its characteristic maturity and complexity. This lengthy cellaring underscores the special status of the Grande Sendrée within the House of Drappier. With an alcohol content of 12% in a 0.75-litre bottle with a natural cork, this French vintage champagne is an elegant choice for special occasions.
