Description
Description
Poli Grappa Sarpa Oro di Poli is a fine, cask-aged grappa from Italy, produced at the historic Poli distillery in Veneto. Since its foundation in 1898 by GioBatto Poli, this family-run business has been synonymous with the highest standards of craftsmanship in distillation. Today, the distillery is run by the four Poli siblings – Jacopo, Geampaolo, Barbara and Andrea – who carry on the family legacy with passion and a spirit of innovation.
This exquisite grappa is produced from the pomace of Merlot and Cabernet grapes sourced from the finest vineyards in northern Italy. Distillation takes place traditionally in copper stills, resulting in a particularly smooth and aromatic spirit. After distillation, Sarpa Oro is aged in French oak casks with a capacity of 225 litres. This oak ageing imparts exceptional depth, elegant vanilla and spicy notes, and a wonderfully smooth texture.
Thanks to its rich aroma and smooth texture, this grappa is ideal for enjoying neat. It combines the tradition of Italian distilling with modern, refined cask ageing and is the perfect choice for connoisseurs and lovers of high-quality grappa.
