Description
Description
Weingut Heinrich is located in Gols in Burgenland. It is run by Gernot and Heike Heinrich.
A great wine can only be produced if the vines are happy. The family's vineyards are located in Purbach, Breitenbrunn, Winden, Jois, Neusiedl am See, Weiden, Gold, Mönchhof and Podersdorf. The numerous hours of sunshine around Lake Neusiedl allow the grapes to develop to their full potential and reflect this intensity in the flavour.
The cult wine Salzberg is an exceptional cuvée made from a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Blaufränkisch. Spontaneously fermented and matured for 30 months in 500-litre oak barrels, it has a breathtaking aroma of fine precious wood and cherries and is juicy, silky and salty on the palate, just as its name promises. It is an icon of top-quality biodynamic wine.
