Jameson Black Barrel is a reinterpretation of the popular Jameson Select Reserve Black Barrel and captivates with even more intense flavours and an exceptionally smooth texture. The blend is composed of carefully selected small-batch grain whiskies and single Irish pot still whiskies. What makes this whisky particularly unique is its maturation in a combination of American sherry casks and double-charred oak casks.

Charring the oak casks both before and after bourbon ageing produces the characteristic robust notes that lend the whisky a particular depth. This ‘Black Barrel’ technique brings out flavours of caramel, toffee, vanilla and roasted spices, which are created by the caramelised residues in the wood.

Jameson Black Barrel is rich, full-bodied and yet velvety smooth – perfect for connoisseurs who appreciate an intense whisky.
