The Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky 40% ABV, 0.7 l + GB with 2 x 0.05 l miniatures is an elegant gift edition of the popular Taiwanese single malt, combining craftsmanship, exoticism and elegance. This whisky is produced at the renowned Kavalan Distillery in north-eastern Taiwan – the country’s first whisky distillery to gain international acclaim. Only pure spring water from the nearby snow-capped mountains is used in production, lending the whisky its exceptional purity and smoothness.


The Concertmaster is regarded as the evolution of the classic Kavalan Single Malt and, after maturing in a combination of fresh and refill bourbon casks as well as sherry casks, undergoes a finish of around six months in selected port casks. This final maturation imparts its characteristic fruitiness, creamy texture and harmonious sweetness. The combination of a tropical climate, high-quality casks and traditional distilling craftsmanship produces a whisky of impressive depth and balance.
