Schladerer Black Forest Kirsch is a traditional cherry brandy from the Black Forest, where the focus is on the provenance and quality of the fruit used. To produce it, Schladerer processes local sweet cherries from selected Lager in the Black Forest, including old regional cherry varieties such as Dollenseppler, Schwarze Schüttler and Benjaminler. In particular, the climatically favourable foothills around the Markgräflerland and Staufen, with their distinct yet comparatively mild seasons, offer ideal conditions for fruit growing. The ripe cherries form the basis for the characteristic Black Forest fruit brandy and enable the intense fruit flavour and the variety-specific characteristics to be reproduced as precisely as possible in the distillate.

Schladerer Black Forest Kirsch 42% is bottled in a 0.7-litre bottle and embodies the company’s long tradition of transforming regional fruit into high-quality fruit brandies from Baden-Württemberg. At its heart lies a pronounced cherry character, complemented by subtle hints of almond, as is typical of classic kirsch. Subtle hints of dark chocolate lend the profile additional depth, whilst the distinct fruitiness persists right through to the long finish. In this way, Schladerer’s Black Forest Kirschwasser combines regional sweet cherry varieties, its Black Forest origins and traditional distilling craftsmanship to create a classic German cherry brandy.
