Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva is one of the most significant rum discoveries of recent years and comes from the renowned Distilerias Unidas in Venezuela.
This exceptional rum stands out from lighter Venezuelan varieties such as Cacique or Ocumare thanks to its complexity and richness. Produced from carefully selected molasses, it is distilled in traditional copper pot stills and then matured for at least 12 years in ex-bourbon casks. This long maturation period lends it an impressive depth and elegance that make its character unmistakable.
Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva remains true to the classic, full-bodied and aromatic style of Venezuelan rums, which has been increasingly supplanted by lighter variants in recent years.
